Our Mission & Vision
Rooted in compassion, dedicated to building a future where every child is loved and supported.
Our Story
Great Shepherd Children’s Home was founded in 2010 with a clear and enduring purpose—to provide vulnerable children with more than temporary relief, but a stable foundation for life.
What began as a small, compassionate response to a growing need has steadily developed into a structured and supportive home for children who require care, protection, and direction. From the very beginning, the focus has never been limited to providing food and shelter alone. The goal has always been to create an environment where children feel safe, valued, and given the opportunity to rediscover hope.
Over the years, the home has evolved into a place of restoration and growth. Each child who arrives carries a different story, often shaped by loss, hardship, or uncertainty. At Great Shepherd Children’s Home, those stories are met with patience, understanding, and a commitment to rebuilding confidence and stability.
A strong emphasis is placed on discipline, education, and character development—principles that have stood the test of time. By instilling these values early, the home prepares each child not only to adapt to society, but to contribute meaningfully to it.
This work is strengthened through collaboration with local communities, educators, healthcare professionals, and well-meaning individuals who share the same vision. Together, these efforts create a well-rounded support system that nurtures the physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being of every child under our care.
Today, Great Shepherd Children’s Home stands as more than a shelter—it is a place where lives are rebuilt, futures are shaped, and children are given the structure and guidance they need to move forward with confidence.
The Mission
Our mission is to provide orphaned and vulnerable children with a secure and nurturing home, access to quality education, and consistent emotional and moral support.
We are committed to raising children who are not only cared for, but properly guided—children who understand responsibility, value integrity, and are equipped with the knowledge and life skills necessary to stand on their own. Through a balanced approach that combines care, discipline, and opportunity, we aim to shape individuals who can grow into responsible, productive members of society.
The Vision
Our vision is to see a world where every child, regardless of their circumstances or background, is given a fair opportunity to succeed.
We envision a future where no child is left without guidance, where every child has access to education, stability, and genuine care. A future where children are not defined by their past, but are empowered to reach their full, God-given potential and become individuals who positively impact their communities and the generations that follow.
